The United Premier Soccer League is excited to formally announce the Spring 2024 UPSL National Finals host venue, as well as upcoming dates for all four Spring Regional Finals. This season, Highmark Stadium, located inside the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, in the city’s historic Square Station entertainment district, will host the UPSL National Finals for the first-time ever. Overlooking the city of Pittsburgh’s’ Monongohela River, the 5’000-seat stadium has been called by BBC Radio, “one of the most beautiful stadiums ever seen.”
Home to Pittsburgh Riverhounds, the 10-million-dollar stadium also houses professional rugby, lacrosse and women’s soccer matches. The field surface is also FIFA 2-Star rated, one of only 6 fields in the US to achieve this rating, and the only non-MLS team to be given this status.
UPSL Commissioner Yan Skwara spoke about the excitement surrounding bringing the National Finals to historic Highmark Stadium.
“We’re excited to bring the UPSL National Finals to Highmark Stadium, one of the best stadiums in the country. We look forward to bringing the UPSL National Finals to Pittsburgh for the first time ever. We couldn’t be more excited to see the UPSL’s top teams play in one of the most professional, picturesque soccer venues in the country.”
