New York Empire FC capped off a remarkable regular season by finishing second in the UPSL American North Conference, securing a first-round bye and their first-ever home playoff game. Empire will host the winner of Renegades FC and Red Hook FC in the conference semifinals on November 1 or 2.

The 2025 campaign marks the club’s highest finish in its three-year history, a testament to the steady growth and development under Head Coach Max Ferro. Empire has reached the playoffs in all three of its seasons, but this year’s second-place finish signals another major step forward.

“This group has worked incredibly hard all year,” said Ferro. “To see that effort rewarded with our best finish yet—and a home playoff game—is something we’re all very proud of. We’re continuing to improve every season, and we’re just getting started.”

Empire’s consistent performances, attacking depth, and defensive stability have made them one of the conference’s standout sides. With momentum on their side and the support of their home crowd, NY Empire FC will look to carry their strong form into the postseason as they chase their first conference title.
