NY Empire FC is proud to announce the signing of striker Brian Saramago, a lethal finisher with a track record of delivering goals at every level he’s played.
A Long Island native, Saramago rose through the ranks with BW Gottschee and the New York Red Bulls Academy before starring at Loyola University Maryland, where he built a reputation as one of college soccer’s most dangerous attacking threats.

After his standout collegiate career, Saramago took his talents overseas to compete in Portugal’s Liga Portugal 2, testing himself against some of Europe’s toughest defenders. He later returned to the U.S., playing in USL League Two, and most recently turned heads in the 2025 NPSL season with American Soccer Club, where his combination of sharp finishing, creativity, and relentless work rate made him a fan favorite.

Saramago also brings valuable experience from the U.S. youth national team setup, adding to his pedigree as a proven scorer on both domestic and international stages. With his goal-scoring instincts, playmaking flair, and big-game mentality, he is poised to be a game-changer for NY Empire FC in the season ahead.

Head Coach Max Ferro said, “Brian is a special kind of striker — he’s not just a finisher, he’s a creator, a leader, and a player who thrives in big moments. His experience at the international level and in top leagues overseas makes him exactly the kind of difference-maker we want leading our attack this season.”
