ORLIN & COHEN NAMED OFFICIAL SPORTS MEDICINE PARTNER OF NY EMPIRE FC

Long Island, NY — September 2026 — NY Empire FC is proud to announce Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group as the Official Sports Medicine Partner of NY Empire FC, establishing a partnership designed to support the health, performance and development of Empire athletes throughout the organization.

The partnership brings together two Long Island organizations with a shared commitment to athletes and the communities they serve. Orlin & Cohen will provide sports medicine expertise and support across NY Empire FC’s growing soccer platform, including the NY Empire FC Men’s Semi-Professional Team, Empire International youth programs and Empire Training Center in Bohemia.

For NY Empire FC, the partnership represents another major step in building a complete environment for players at every level.

“This is a big partnership for our organization because it goes far beyond our men’s first team,” said Max Ferro, President and Director of Coaching of NY Empire FC. “We’re building something that connects every part of NY Empire FC — our semi-professional team, our international youth programs and Empire Training Center. Having a respected Long Island organization like Orlin & Cohen alongside us gives our players and families access to a level of sports medicine knowledge and support that is incredibly valuable. We want to continue raising the standard of what we provide our players, and this partnership is an important part of that.”

SUPPORTING THE ENTIRE EMPIRE

The partnership will extend throughout NY Empire FC’s expanding player pathway.

The NY Empire FC Men’s Team competes at the semi-professional level and features a roster of high-level collegiate, former professional and aspiring professional players.

Empire International provides select youth players with opportunities to train and compete internationally, giving young athletes the chance to experience different soccer cultures and compete on an international stage.

At the center of the organization is Empire Training Center in Bohemia, NY Empire FC’s year-round home for player development, performance training, goalkeeper training, camps, clinics and team programming.

Together, these programs allow NY Empire FC to serve athletes from the youth level through the adult semi-professional game.

“We are excited to partner with NY Empire FC and support the athletes throughout their organization,” said Raymond Nelson, Director of Sports Medicine at Orlin & Cohen. “NY Empire FC has created an environment that emphasizes player development, performance and opportunity. We look forward to bringing our sports medicine resources and expertise to their players, families and programs and becoming an active part of the Empire community.”

A PARTNERSHIP BUILT FOR THE FUTURE

As NY Empire FC continues to expand on Long Island and internationally, the organization is focused on developing partnerships that provide tangible value to its players and families.

The relationship with Orlin & Cohen will create opportunities for sports medicine support, athlete education, injury prevention initiatives and greater access to resources for the Empire community.

“This is exactly the type of partnership we want to build,” Ferro added. “It’s not about putting two logos next to each other. It’s about bringing organizations together that can genuinely make the experience better for our athletes and families. We’re excited about what we can build with Orlin & Cohen.”

Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group is now the Official Sports Medicine Partner of NY Empire FC.
