NY Empire FC officially kicked off its 2026 training campaign, and from the first whistle, the tone was clear: this group is hungry, focused, and united by a new mission.

The opening sessions brought together a powerful mix of familiar faces and new additions, blending experience with fresh energy as the club begins its pursuit of a national championship. After laying a strong foundation in previous seasons, Empire enters 2026 with elevated expectations and an unwavering belief in what this group can achieve.

A New Mission, Same Identity
Head Coach Max Ferro emphasized that while the roster continues to evolve, the standards and ambition of the club remain higher than ever.

“Every year we raise the bar,” Ferro said. “We’ve got players returning who understand what it means to wear this badge, and new players who are bringing hunger and quality. The mission is clear—compete at the highest level and put ourselves in position to win a national championship.”
Training sessions have been intense and purposeful, with a clear emphasis on accountability, togetherness, and competitive edge—traits that have come to define NY Empire FC.
Players Buying In
For the players, the message has landed.
Midfielder Zane Brown spoke about the mindset around the group as preparations begin.

“You can feel it right away,” Brown said. “Everyone came in locked in. Whether you’re new or returning, the expectation is the same—to push each other every day and chase something bigger than ourselves.”
Defender George Yuseff echoed that sentiment, highlighting the belief within the squad.
“We know what the goal is,” Yuseff said. “There’s confidence in this group, but also humility. We’re ready to put in the work and earn everything this season.”

Eyes on the Prize
With a refreshed roster, a clear identity, and championship ambitions driving every session, NY Empire FC enters the 2026 season with momentum and purpose. Training is just the beginning—but the standard has already been set.
The chase is on.
